Hope for the Lost Generation's mission is to help eradicate child homelessness in Sierra Leone, provide access to basic needs, strengthen educational and self-reliant skills, develop spiritual and moral values, decrease national crime rate and child exploitation, and give hope and opportunity for children to thrive for a productive future.

About Hope for the Lost Generation

Hope for the Lost Generation (HLG) rescues children aged 5-16 years old from the streets of Freetown, who have been working, scavenging, loitering, and sleeping on the streets.

We provide comprehensive support including shelter, food, medical care, psychosocial support, ongoing mentoring, and education. On Christmas Day, HLG feeds a target of 350 street children and people with disabilities.
